We are open between:
- 9.30am and 3.30pm for viewing.
- 8.30am and 4.00pm for drop off & pick ups.
We welcome visitors between these times to come and view our wonderful facilities.
Collection & Delivery
We will be offering a collection and delivery service.
Delivery and collection is available during opening hours only. Please let us know if you are interested in this service
Any pet NOT collected within 14 days after the end of the original booking period and with no contact from the owner will become the property of Gordon Country Kennels.
Health & Hygiene
If wet or muddy after walking, all our guests are thoroughly towel-dried and the rooms are cleaned between guests using a high pressure steam cleaner, avoiding the use of smelly chemicals
In an emergency or illness we will contact the owner or his/her nominated contact. We have an excellent local veterinary practice that is close by and available 24 hours a day, or if possible we will take your pet to your own veterinary practitioner.
Owners undertake to declare any history of veterinary or behaviour problems that could reoccur while boarding and to draw attention to any potential problems, phobias (or vices!) their dogs may have. The more we know about your pet, the more at the home we can make them feel.
Pets will be insured with Pet Plan while they are under our care.
The proprietors reserve the right to refuse admission to any dog showing signs of ill health or aggression.
Vaccinations
Please check your vaccination certificate!
The vaccination certificate must be up-to-date.
You MUST bring it with you when checking in or we cannot accept your dog into the kennels
Owners must have their dogs vaccinated against:
- Distemper
- Hepatitis
- Leptospirosis
- Canine Parvovirus
- Para influenza
These are all part of the annual vaccinations
To keep ALL our guests safe we also request that all our guests have been:
- Treated for Kennel Cough (this needs to be done at least 14 days prior to your pets arrival)
- Wormed
- Flea and tick treatment
We want all our guests to have a safe & happy stay.
Security
This is our family home, and there is always somebody here 24 hours a day and we also have security cameras and lights operating
We are set in a quiet and beautiful location in the Gordon Countryside.
Food & Treats
We believe in keeping things as homely as possible, and will ask you to let us know exactly what your pet has at home and we will provide this for you within reason.
We will require this information from you at the time of booking to ensure that everything is ready for your pets arrival.
Bedding and Toys
We Strongly encourage owners to bring beds, toys and items of comfort from your home as this will also help settle your pet. Please do not wash the bedding or toys as they need to have familiar smells of home.
Your dog may chew their bedding!
No responsibility can be taken for owners toys or bedding that is used on the premises!
